The Dojo

The Mon of the dojo (that is traditionally applied in the upper left to do the frame) represents the great wave that is advancing powerful and unstoppable.

The file was suggested by the teachings of Koichi Hasegawa Sensei (8° Dan) that often the use to help students understand the meaning of the seed (pressure forward) before the attack and the Zan-Shin (maintenance of energy) after the hit.
esteticamente is based on the "big wave on the coast of kawasaga" (Kanagawa okinamiura ") painted by great Katsushika Hokusai.

The Nami Kendo Dojo Trieste the Kendo is practised according to the teachings of Japanese masters of ZNKR and in tune with the Federation of Italian Kendo (CIK).
un particular attention is placed in the study of Kihon-doses (base) and of Kata (forms).

Shinai (sword of bamboo for the trainig) of € 30,00
Boken (sword of wood for the kata) of € 15,00

Bogu (armour complete) of € 400,00
The Dojo provides for beginners (for the first period) shinai and boken, also are available certain armour to start the practice.

Medical examinations :
To attend the course and the stage CIK is sufficient the certificate of good healt of your doctor.
To partecipate in invitations to tender CIK-EKF is essential the agonistic visit in the center of Sport Medicine.
